Splash and Sparkle

The main purpose of the project is to add color to the life at the government school in L B Nagar, Hyderabad. Cognizant's Outreach team and interactive team supported us to complete this project. Our thanks to those teams and special thanks to Sai Prakash, who donated his reward money for the school project.

We painted the corridor walls and the class room walls of the school in several creative ways. The vibrant colors and uplifting figures brought energy into the school environment and filled the faces of the kids with smiles.

A complete change in the atmosphere can be observed in the pictures. Below are the spectacular pictures taken while we were working through the project.

Three Successful Years

Celebrating completion of Three Successful Years!!

It gives V2HelpU immense joy completing three successful years and makes it feel stronger with the increasing number of volunteers coming forward and helping us stand up to our slogan, "The group for needy" as a single voice.

V2HelpU celebrated the event in a more meaningful way and organized the following events:

1. "Road Safety - Zindagi Jiyo"

           An initiative started by Apollo Hospitals with the help of several corporate companies, and Cognizant Technology Solutions Pvt. is one among them. A total of 14 volunteers participated in the Traffic Awareness Drive spreading the importance of awareness of traffic rules and following them to reduce accidents. The event took place in L B Nagar and Ameerpet areas from 8 A.M. to 11 A.M.

    2.  Fruit Festival and Maths Premier League

          By noon we reached Anandha Vidhyarthi Gruham to celebrate our joy with the children there. We had a fruit festival for all the children and felt happy seeing them relish the tastes of the summer cooler, Watermelon. Also we conducted a math game for the children where we divided them into teams and asked each team to post questions in maths to the members in other teams. Every team gets a chance to play both a batsman and also a bowler. Students enjoyed the game just as much as IPL.

    3.  MNJ Cancer Hospital

          Volunteers of V2HelpU headed to MNJ Cancer Hospital by evening and spent time cheering up the sufferers of muscle cancer. Kids at the hospital were encouraged to participate in drawing competition, musical chairs, find a leader game followed by our third anniversary cake cutting, juice distribution and prizes to the winners. Special thanks to  Ramam Atmakuri,Rajkumar Chellappan ,Subrahmanyam Chinta for allocating their time for the kids in the hospital.

The day has become one of the most memorable one to V2HelpU and its volunteers. Thanks to Abhinav Reddy, Phani Kasukurthi , Simhadri Saikiran.

V2HelpU thanks all the volunteers who joined their hands with us and supported us with their passion and commitment to help the mankind.

Mother's Day

V2HelpU has celebrated the Mother's Dayday @ Goldage Old Age Home to see smiles on the Mothers face.

Everyone at this home loves Bhajans, singing and also to listen someone singing. So we started the event with a Bhajan, prayer to god followed by songs and poetry on Mother by the people at home and also our volunteers.

We conducted a game for them, where in they were given a minute of time to throw balls in a basket and people who throw maximum number of balls were declared as winners. Everyone took part in this game very actively and in fact tried too hard to win the game. We were so happy to see them becoming kids as they participated in the game and giving tough competition to each other and not allowing the game to end.

The winner in the Game might be just one, but V2HelpU won the hearts of many mothers on this MOTHERS DAY.

V2HelpU volunteers were blessed to be part of the event and also their happiness.

Visit to LSN Foundation Lalapet

V2HelpU volunteers made a visit to LSN Foundation, Lalpet, Hyderabad and spent time with the children their. We took some watermelons for the children and gave them a time to share and enjoy having fun. Below are the pictures taken:
